Niagara Masters Swimming is successful due to our strong history of volunteerism dating back to the 1970's. The Niagara Local Masters Swim Committee (LMSC) Board of Directors are all volunteers.

We are currently looking for:

  • Top Ten Recorder. Responsible for tabulations of all swims for all events in Niagara for USMS members. See: Sample role description.
  • Meet Officials. These volunteers are responsible for ensuring that the meet and its participants operate within USMS rules and regulations. There are different roles for officials, such as: Stroke & Turn, Starter, and Referee. USMS is now certifying officials through an online program at no charge. Even if you can only officiate one swim meet per year, we can always use your help. Please contact the Niagara LMSC Officials Chair for more information.

Please send us an email if you're interested in any of the above positions or you just want to get involved! We are always doing succession planning for roles that are filled as well. Let us know if you can help and we would be happy to discuss a position that suits you best!
