SwImaging Clinics and Training Camp

In conjunction with the Canandaigua Sawbellies masters club, SWiM TeQ will be offering underwater video stroke analysis (SwImaging) to any registered USMS Niagara LMSC swimmers on the following dates:

  • Friday, November 30, 8:30-9:30pm
  • Friday, December 21, 8:30-9:30pm

Location: Canandaigua Academy pool: 435 East St, Canandaigua, NY 14424.

Underwater stroke analysis video will be taken and reviewed onsite as time allows. Doug Dello Stritto is a USMS Certified Coach (Level 1/2). Attendees will have a link to the video emailed to them to review with their personal coach at their convenience.

A $20 donation to the Canandaigua Sawbellies is suggested.

Training trip:

SWiM Teq is planning a training trip to the National Training Center (NTC) in Clermont, Florida March 6-10 and Canandaigua Sawbellies would like to invite all Niagara District swimmers. Though the focus will be training there will also be underwater video stroke analysis, stroke technique work and some classroom instruction. The NTC also has excellent testing facilities for sports performance. Space will be limited.

About Niagara LMSC

The Niagara Local Masters Swim Committee (LMSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to a healthy swimming lifestyle for adult swimmers, within the Western NY region. The Niagara LMSC is the local governing body of U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS).

There are over 600 registered Masters Swimmers in Niagara and over 60,000 in USMS. Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to join. No prior competitive swimming experience is necessary.
