The Canandaigua Academy pool is open for Family Swim on Friday from 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on any day that school is in session. Cost is $5/family, $2/person.

Exceptions to this schedule occasionally occur if an interscholastic swim meet has been scheduled for a Friday, or if it proves impossible to staff the facility with the appropriate number of lifeguards.

Canandaigua Aquatics offers swimming lessons each summer for children ages four and older. In 2006, the program will run June 26 - July 22 and will consist of two 2-week sessions. Classes are held weekday mornings. The fee is $35/child for all area residents. Registration is usually held in late May, with forms available in school offices by early May.
