The Binghamton University Masters (BUMS) club held another successful meet on April 23rd, with over 75 swimmers in attendance. All local meet results are linked in our Events - Results area.

At the end of April, the USMS Spring National Championships were held in Riverside, California. Over 2,000 swimmers attended this four day event. Two Niagara swimmers, Rob Hilton and Scott Adams, competed at the meet. Both of them contested multiple events in the men's 45-49 age group. The Niagara Local Masters Swim Committee (LMSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to a healthy swimming lifestyle for adult swimmers, within the Western NY region. The Niagara LMSC is the local governing body of U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS).

There are over 600 registered Masters Swimmers in Niagara and over 60,000 in USMS. Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to join. No prior competitive swimming experience is necessary.
